After reading an article about this generations attitude towards work, reality and general expectation featured on the Business Insider (Click to Read Here) made me realise a different perspective of my generation and working toward a career goal. I realised that while some people in my generation have a despicable ethic towards work and carry their false sense of entitlement there is also the other side of the coin.
I have been extremely quiet on the blog as of late, this has been a combination of a lack of creativity and trying to focus my energy on finding opportunities in my work life. So a holiday in Melbourne with my fiancé to attend some family events turned into me missing my flight to New Zealand and starting a job.
A lot has been going on in the last couple of months. I have been crazy quiet on the blog, blogging is more a hobby than something serious and life has got in the way. Between my last proper post on the blog and now, so many exciting and wonderful things have happened in my life. Today I am writing this post to stop and reflect on my achievements and milestones in this time.
Magnesium is becoming an ever important vitamin it todays world. Busy lifestyles, high stress jobs, diet and overindulgence is leading people into a dangerous territory they otherwise might not be aware of. Magnesium deficiency is becoming a talked about topic in the health world and you might shrug it off until you realise you fit into this category.
The Blogging community in New Zealand is a tight knit community of girls and boys that help each other out, read each others blogs and share the bucket loads of knowledge about everything blog. So when I heard that there was a #brunchclub brunch scheduled to go down in Wellington I just knew I had to go. I scooped up a ticket and it came around fast by gosh I was so excited and nervous being the first on I had attended.
2015 has come around fast and January has flown by. As my 5 weeks of fantastic summer bliss in the Coromandel have come to an end I thought I would write about my goals and aspirations for this year. Feeling recharged, inspired and energised, I have left this post for so long not because I think it’s important to think really seriously about goals and what you want to succeed. Personally I didn’t want to rush setting my goals, the famous New Years resolutions that leave us falling into the embarrassing category of the 2-week wonders.
I first discovered Vanisha after coming across her vibrant Instagram @vanishalifeunstyled it’s filled with gorgeous images of her style, travel, food, books and tropical adventures. Vanisha leads a busy lifestyle, is torn between two countries, and is an all action kind of girl. I was naturally intrigued by her energy and I was curious to know more about the sophisticated lady behind the photos. I talked to the lovely Vanisha about life, work and travel.
Trawling through social media and online forums and groups it is all to common for me to find girls apologising for their appearance. This has been a slow to rise topic in the year of 2014 with feminism and equal rights for both sexes being talked about at the UN and in other high profile situations. For me this is not OK. I don’t believe it is right that woman don’t stand up for themselves when saying something. By apologising we are not being affirmative, strong and it totally lessens the effect of the statement. It is a conditioned defence mechanism of the 21st century and it needs to stop.
A few posts ago I told you that I was going to share with you my skin care routine and what I put on my face this is that post! I What I use primarily on my face is the beautiful and natural Trilogy Advanced Skincare Range.I have a history of bad skin so for me it is to really important to look after my skin in a holistic way. The Trilogy Advanced Skincare Range is perfect for this as it treats my skin with natural ingredients, slowly fades my scars with rosehip oil and isn’t harmful to me as it has simple natural ingredients and not tons of chemicals.

Hi Guys! I Have been insanely busy with: uni work receiving lovely products to try out scoring a new pair of boyfriend jeans at a second hand boutique drinking Kale Juice with my sister. So I decided to Chuck together a quick playlist of my favourite songs on my Itunes at the moment to get you and me through the weekend. Can I make my own body scrub that’s more effective and cheaper than buying it? That’s what thought crossed my mind last week, resulting in a super-dooper post that I am so excited to share with you!
I have been terribly slack this week I am getting use to my university life again an he new responsibilities of being a blogger. This week I decided to start The Soul Book Project. I have been seeing heaps if great and inspiring stuff being posted through social media. Quotes are so powerful and I always want to share that with friends.
